slogan2021The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona with the collaboration of the City Council of Cerdanyola del Vallès, organize on Sunday December 19, 2021 the tenth edition of the UAB charity running race in support of the marató de TV3. The donations will go to the La Marató Foundation of TV3, which this year is dedicated to mental health.

One in four people will have a mental health problem in their lifetime.

Mental disorders are health alterations that involve a dysfunction of thought, emotions, behavior and that impact all areas of life.

They can affect all people of any age and more than half of these disorders begin in adolescence, which is a time of major change and must be alert. Prevention and early treatment are essential to achieve a positive evolution.

Thanks to the mental health research carried out by the UAB, we will be able to have an earlier diagnosis, improve treatments and prevent many disorders. The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life of the affected people. We believe that it is vital to raise awareness in society to cooperate and obtain resources.

Run, walk, participate as a volunteer... Alone, with friends or family but do not stop collaborating. WE WAIT FOR YOU at the UAB on December 19!

Departure and arrival: Vila Universitaria of the University Autonomous of Barcelona.








Date: Sunday, 19 December 2021.

Departure and arrival: Vila Universitaria at Universitat Autónoma of Barcelona.

Circuits: 95% asphalt, closed to traffic and controlled. The organization reserves the right to modify the circuit / circuits for security reasons.

Distances: approximately 11.6km, 6.5km and 480 meters.


(*) In case the walk has a significant number of participants, the departure time may be altered in a few minutes.

Running categories 11.6km:

(*) Those under the age of 18 must submit an authorization from one of the parents and / or guardians.

Running categories 6.5km:

(*) Those under the age of 18 must submit an authorization from one of the parents and / or guardians.

There will be no categories in the 6.5km walk.

There will be no race / walk categories for sportsmen with reduced mobility.

Information for young participants:

All minors enrolled in the reduced mobility course (> 8 years), in the 6.5km race / walk (> 8 years) and in the 11.6km race (between 14 and under 18) must carry signed the authorization of parents, or guardians. Download the authorization document for minors here.

Registration fees:

The participants of the race / walk must formalize their registration:

  • Internet: on this website.
  • Presentials: "dBici" (C/ Sant Ramon 116, Cerdanyola del Vallès). Download the registration form.

  • The race has a solidarity character. It is anticipated to give at La Marató de TV3 at least the amount of € 8 per registration. The organization is working so that this amount can be higher.

    Each federated corridor is responsible for making sure that the federation mentioned at the time of formalization of its registration covers this type of event.

    Registration deadline:

    • Online: until Friday, December 17 at 23:59 p.m.
    • On-campus: December 18 & 19.

    Chips: Chips are the Championchip officers. Those who have a yellow chip must register by giving their code and take it to the race if they want to go to the classifications. Those who do not have a yellow chip should rent a white one that they will have to return after finishing the race. White chips will be delivered along with the back and the shirt.

    Insurance: accident insurance is mandatory for those who do not have the specific accident coverage for this type of competition. The amount of the accident insurance is € 1.50.

    It is necessary for participants with insurance to know the exact coverage of the policy they are subscribed to.

    Pick up of dorsals and / or timing chips:

    • Saturday 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Campus Hotel.
    • Sunday 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 30 minutes before each race begins, at the Campus Hotel just meters away from the exit.
    It will be necessary to bring the DNI / NIE / passport to pick up the number, the chip (if applicable) and the t-shirt. Children under 18 must submit an authorization from one of the parents and / or guardians.

    Prospectors: The organization can request documents proving the age of the people who participate.

    Closure of the race: The arrival of the participants runners will be closed at 1:30 p.m.

    Classifications race 11.6km and race 6.5km: Classifications will be published on the race page once the information about the company that is in charge of the timing has been received. They will include the corridors that begin and end the route with the corresponding back and chip. The organization will place, throughout the circuit, the sufficient number of controls to ensure that the test is absolutely correct and sporty. There will be no trophies for winners of the general and / or category.

    There will be no ratings for the 6.5km walk.

    There will be no 480m race / walk classifications for sportsmen with reduced mobility.

    Return of the chip: Once the corridor has passed through the arrival line, at the collection points established.

    Responsibilities: The organization is not responsible for the material and intangible damages that may arise from participating in the race / walk. Red Cross ambulance assistance is planned with the first aid service.

    Complaints: They must be made in writing to the director of "La carrera de la UAB - La Marató de TV3", attaching € 50, which will be returned only if the claim is correct.

    Modifications: The organization reserves the right to make any variation. In any case, they will be informed accordingly.

    Trophies: There will be no trophies for winners of the general and / or category.

    Additional services offered:

    • Race day will include an open day at Servei d´Activitat Física (SAF-UAB) for all (participants, accompanists, others).

    Cancellation: The amount of registration for the different types will not be refunded.



  • Entities Fair: In the departure and arrival zone of the race you will find information stands to know the activities that the active associations in the field of La Marató of this year develop.
  • Cloakroom.
  • Physiotherapy: physiotherapy service in the arrival area, by the students of the Degree of Physiotherapy at the UAB.
  • Supply at the end of the race, among others with a hot broth.
  • Showers: If once finished the race you want to shower, you can do it at the facilities of the Servei d’Activitat Física (SAF) until 2pm.
  • Parking: We recommend that you come to the Campus using public transport. The FGC-Bellaterra station is located near the start / finish line, 250m. Consult schedules at FGC (Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat de Cataluña).

Priority areas:

  • AREA 1. Can Domènech Avenue: It includes the entire parking area on both sides between the Faculty of Medicine and the University City.
  • AREA 2. Vinya Street (parking area located next to the Faculty of Communication Sciences).
  • AREA 3. Vall Moronta Street (street that connects the Can Doménech Avenue with the Civic Square).

Alternative zone:

  • AREA 4. Eje Central Av.(parking lot from the C building to Plaza Cívica).

Keep in mind that from 9:30 a.m. there will be traffic restrictions on the itineraries through which the Race passes and access to the parking areas closest to the exit area of the race can not be guaranteed. Starting at 1:30 p.m. traffic on the streets of the Campus will be normalized.

Parking for people with reduced mobility: 15 places have been enabled just behind the Hotel Campus.

Prediction of weather: cloudy with temperatures of 12 to 18 degrees. In case of adverse weather conditions, the Race will be carried out equally. Companions may be confined in covered spaces provided for this purpose.
